Centre for People’s Justice and the Public Law Unit present Truth and Power: Can Hillsborough Law redefine UK Justice?

Public trust in politics and public institutions is at a historic low, yet the Public Office (Accountability) Bill—known as the Hillsborough Law — is a watershed moment in a long march for accountability, candour and justice.
Could this landmark legislation finally end the cover-ups, lies, and destruction of evidence that have scarred relations between the UK state and its citizens?
Join leading academics, advocates and renowned Mirror journalist and campaigner, Susie Boniface, as we explore the Bill’s historic magnitude, constitutional significance, and its social justice promise.
