The Liverpool Centre for Cardiovascular Science was established in 2018 to address the rising burden of cardiovascular disease in the Liverpool City region and beyond.

Our collaborative initiative brings together experts from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool Health Partners, and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Trust. Together, we unite world-leading research and clinical expertise to tackle cardiovascular health challenges.

Join us at the Victoria Gallery & Museum for our workshop in honour of World Heart Day 2025. At the event, you will hear from expert speakers in cardiovascular disease, network with fellow researchers and engage in topical sessions related to stroke-heart syndrome, atrial fibrillation, comorbidities and CVD prevention. You will also have the opportunity to pitch ideas for projects/collaborations to colleagues.

LCCS Members and non-members are welcome to attend and lunch will be provided for registered individuals. We look forward to seeing you on the day!
