Join me for an unfiltered reflection on a career that began in the most unlikely of places... a broom cupboard in Bognor Regis and evolved into a pioneering role at the forefront of speech and language therapy clinical academia.
Discover how persistence, serendipity, and support from the NIHR shaped a different path, and how this journey helped inform better services, better outcomes, and ultimately better experiences for head and neck cancer patients and their families.
Professor Jo Patterson is a Speech and Language Therapist, based in the School of Allied Healthcare Professionals and Nursing, and is part of the Liverpool Head and Neck Centre.
