We are pleased to announce that the Annual Heseltine Institute Lecture 2023 will be given by Judge Wendy Beetlestone, United States District Judge and new Chancellor of the University of Liverpool:

Upholding Justice: The Importance of Judicial Independence in an Age of Uncertainty

As policy-makers face unprecedented challenges of uncertainty, complexity and contestation, Judge Beetlestone will use the lens of judicial independence to reflect upon the important role of public institutions in meeting these challenges.

There will be a Q&A session after the lecture which will be followed by an informal drinks reception.
