Explore the Amarna Letters (c. 1360-1332 BCE) - a vital record of international affairs in the Late Bronze Age. While previous research focused on masculine power, an innovative approach uncovers the presence of female figures in these texts. Content analysis and sociological social network analysis (SNA) reveal the hidden female voices, using SNA to create visual network graphs. As a computational tool, SNA helps bridge Egyptology and sociological methods, offering fresh insights into the Amarna Letters and diplomatic exchanges of the era. Join this seminar for a deeper exploration of these ancient texts and their hidden narratives.
