The 2023 Festival sees the return of Dr Amir Khan, full time GP, TV personality and graduate of the University (MBChB 2004). Following his sell-out event in 2021, where he discussed his fly on the wall account of a GP’s role in bestseller The Doctor Will See You Now, Amir has now turned his hand to fiction. How (Not) to Have an Arranged Marriage is due to be published this September, so join us to hear excerpts from his forthcoming book alongside a Q and A with the audience.

Blackwell's bookshop will be facilitating a book signing after this event in the Waterhouse Café.

You can also purchase full day or weekend passes so you can enjoy everything the festival has to offer.
