Writing can be a way for us to take the point of view of somebody else and try to understand their lives, offering a new way to view the world, but the more we move away from the human perspective, the more we must speculate in our writing. Join the Guild of Students for a Creative Writing Event at the University of Liverpool where we will explore how to write the other in nature whether that is a squirrel, cow, penguin, tree, river, rock or the sun. Through several writing activities and discussions, we will explore the limitations and the power of voicing the other and what that teaches us.

There will be a photographer on site taking pictures at this week's events. If you do NOT want your photograph to be used in future marketing materials please contact us at sustainability@liverpool.ac.uk. You may withdraw your consent at any stage in the future, however this will not apply retrospectively to material already in circulation.
