Prof Luca Csepely-Knorr Inaugural Lecture - ’Shaping Tomorrow’s Landscape'
Paul Brett Lecture Theatre - Yoko Ono Lennon Centre, University of Liverpool.
15 March, 2023 - 5:30 pm

In this lecture, Professor Luca Csepely-Knorr discusses her ongoing Arts and Humanities Research Council-supported research project ‘Women of the Welfare Landscape’, focussing on the vital role of landscapes in the manifestation of the ideals of the British Welfare State and the yet unappreciated but indispensable contribution of women to this process. The talk will use networks and collaborations of female landscape architects as a lens through which broader questions such as professionalisation, international professional organisations and the role of education, policy and advocacy in the development of post-war landscape architecture can be explored.

The event will be followed by a wine reception.

All welcome!
