The University of Liverpool Sustainability Team, in partnership with the Liverpool Guild of Students are hosting the University’s first ever Sustainability Week from 20th - 28th February, with a full calendar of events and opportunities to get involved in.
As part of the University’s Feel Good February program, Sustainability Week kicks off on Monday 20 February, from 10am-4pm with a Sustainability Fair in Mountford Hall, Guild of Students. Here, a range of businesses, academics, internal and external teams will be showcasing their sustainable projects and achievements, ready to engage with students, staff and the general public.
We will be joined by the teams from Sowing the Seeds of Sustainability, Ness Gardens, LEAF, Sustainability in Action, Student Welfare Advice and Guidance, Halls of Residence, Hedgehog Friendly Campus and Eco-I North West, as well as local organisations Liverpool Food Growers Network, Blackburn House, Compost Works, SUEZ Recycling, Uni Green Scheme, Merseyside Recycling & Waste Authority, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Agent Academy, Liverpool Friends of the Earth, The Fermentation Station, and many more departments and organisations to be announced soon, so watch this space.
