The Eighteenth-Century Worlds Research Centre is celebrating its 15th anniversary this autumn. We’ve not had a chance to meet in person since COVID, so this is the perfect opportunity to get together. We encourage anyone interested in the eighteenth century to join us in celebrating ECW’s anniversary with conversation and cake.

The event will include a short introduction to the Centre from its long-time Director, Prof. Mark Towsey, and a reflection from Dr Sophie Jones, one of our alumni, on her time as an eighteenth-centuryist at the University of Liverpool. We will share plans for a new seminar series for Semester 2 and look forward to hearing about ongoing and potential eighteenth-century projects and collaborations as we mingle and chat.
