Click on "Create a calendar file" and your browser will download a .ics file for this event.
Microsoft Outlook: Download the file, double-click it to open it in Outlook, then click on "Save & Close" to save it to your calendar. If that doesn't work go into Outlook, click on the File tab, then on Open & Export, then Open Calendar. Select your .ics file then click on "Save & Close".
Google Calendar: download the file, then go into your calendar. On the left where it says "Other calendars" click on the arrow icon and then click on Import calendar. Click on Browse and select the .ics file, then click on Import.
Apple Calendar: The file may open automatically with an option to save it to your calendar. If not, download the file, then you can either drag it to Calendar or import the file by going to File >Import > Import and choosing the .ics file.

This exciting event is perfect for you if you’re a student at school or college and are interested in psychology. Come along to hear our expert speakers discuss their areas of work and ask those burning questions to find out what it’s really like to be a psychologist. And there’ll be psychology undergraduates on hand to share what to expect from studying psychology at university.
Registration for this event gives you access to all of the talks and sessions for both students and tutors. We will also, subject to speaker permission, be recording this event and making it available to those who have registered for this event at a later date.

10.00 – 15.00, Your Future in Psychology – Student Programme
Our first session of the day will be an inspirational session for school and college students. You’ll explore the options for studying psychology and psychology as a future career. Our speakers will discuss their areas of expertise in psychology and share insights on topics that are relevant to your studies. You will also be able to put your questions to our speakers in a live Q&A. And you can listen in on a conversation between current psychology undergraduates to get a glimpse of what it’s like to study psychology at university. Speakers confirmed for this so far are:
Dr Daniel Jolley – Conspiracy Theories
Dr Simon Goodson – Cyberpsychology and the effects of playing video games
Dr Elaine Kasket - The power of technology in our lives and its impact on our wellbeing
