This event is aimed at students and educators alike. We've brought together Professor Leslie Thomas QC and Cllr Ed Davie to discuss racial equality in education.

This event has been organised by the youth campaign group 'Justice for You' who want to see their curriculum diversified and racism banished from their classrooms. They want to hear your experience of racial equality in education. We're just as keen to hear about positive experiences as negative ones to build a representative picture of young people's experiences.

Professor Leslie Thomas QC is an award-winning human rights/civil liberties barrister and is a leading expert in claims against the police and other public authorities, as well as claims against corporate bodies.

Cllr Ed Davie is the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People on Lambeth Council. He is also the Policy and Public Affairs lead for the Centre for Mental Health and has a Masters in Public Health.
