“In this talk, I will discuss the impact that climate had on humans. I will start by investigating the effects on phenotypes during the Pleistocene. I will then consider the effect of climate in determining the tempo of expansions out of Africa, as well as its role in shaping the recent expansion of modern humans 60-50k years ago. I will conclude
by looking at the role of climate in modulating the interaction between hunter gatherers and farmers in Western Eurasia.”
