Academic registration

The University keeps information about you on a central student records system, including:

  • Personal details (name, address and date of birth)
  • Academic information (programme of study, major and module details) and
  • Examinations (timetables and assessment results)

You can access your record through the student portal, Liverpool Life, online at liverpool-life.liv.ac.uk.

Academic Registration

One of the first things you need to do is to complete your academic registration in Liverpool Life. You will receive an email telling you when you should do so. Guidance about completing academic registration is available from the Student Administration and Support Division website at www.liv.ac.uk/student-administration/liverpool-life/.

Keeping your details up-to-date

You should use Liverpool Life to regularly check your address details, maintain contact details for people the University should get in touch with if there is an emergency, look at your academic timetable, and keep up to date with important announcements - including about your exams.
