University of Liverpool releases first wave of online short courses

At the University of Liverpool, we are delighted to announce the release of our first wave of online short courses, seminars, and workshops for the coming academic year. We think there is something for everyone here, and there is more on the way.
An itch to scratch?
Have you ever wanted to take a University course, but weren’t able to? Do you wish you could study History? Or perhaps Creative Writing? Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn to play an instrument? Or do the Sciences fascinate you? We have prepared short courses in all of these areas: Ancient and Modern History, Art History, Irish Studies, Astronomy, and Psychology are just the tip of the iceberg.
Access a wider world with Modern Languages
Our Open Languages centre gives you the chance to learn the world’s largest and most influential languages. Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese and more are on offer.
Pick up new skills
If you are looking for work, want to be more productive in the office, or keen to strike out alone, take a look at our skills courses in Business and Management and Computer Sciences. Here, you’ll be able to take on Computer Coding, Entrepreneurship, or even Neurofinance!
And there’s more...
Remember, this is just the first wave! We’ll be releasing more courses in the coming weeks. Look out for Saturday morning workshops, and our free one-off public lectures.
Accessible, Valuable, Enjoyable, and Rewarding
All of our courses are ideal ways to do something you love with other like-minded people, and with expert tutors. And to make sure you can access our courses whatever your circumstances, we’re going fully online. To make sure you have every opportunity to get the most out of University study, you’ll be able to register to access vital University resources to support your learning. And for each course you complete, we’ll mark your achievement with an official University of Liverpool certificate.
You can view the full programme here - or by clicking 'choose your course' in the left hand navigation and browsing the options listed.
