The Knowsley Education Awards ceremony is an annual event recognising teachers, pupils, governors and leadership teams within the Liverpool City region. Guests arrived for a drinks reception and canapés in the Grand Entrance Hall before making their way to the Leggate Theatre for the awards ceremony. Guests enjoyed fantastic entertainment from a local Primary School choir and dance company.

Event oragniser, Heather Piggot, commented: "We chose to hold our event at the Victoria Gallery and Museum as the venue really set the tone for a prestigious evening for celebrating educational excellence. By hosting the event here we were able to bring young people, their parents, teachers, council staff and our partners together in to an environment that highlighted the brilliant Higher Education opportunities our young people have locally in the Liverpool City Region. Both the entrance hall and theatre were perfect for the event and guests commented on how grand the venue was! The staff at the Victoria Gallery and Museum were very professional and helpful both in the run up to the evening, and on the night itself.

The venue is in a great central location and is very impressive externally upon arrival and even more so when entering the building. Due to this, it required minimal decoration as the features of the building really speak for themselves! The staff at the museum and gallery added an enormous amount of value to our evening with their knowledge, skills and hands on attitude- we can’t thank you enough!"

The Knowsley Education Awards are a celebration of achievement evening that will highlight the great things going on in our schools. We will showcase and award the talent, ambition and dedication of our pupils, teachers and schools.
