When you are offered an interview, you need to start thinking about the type of questions you might be asked, the setting in which you will be interviewed, and the strategy you will use to calm your nerves and put your best self forward.

By simulating real interview scenarios, Shortlist.me provides a safe space for you to build confidence and readiness for the real thing, providing instant online feedback to help you improve your overall performance and technique.

Shortlist.Me offers a wide range of industry and employer-specific interview practice to ace your application process. Whether you're prepping for a role within sectors such as education, finance, or marketing, or perhaps you’re looking to prep for a post-grad study interview or need help preparing for a careers fair, Shortlist.Me has practice interviews for lots of different scenarios!

You can practice from anywhere and find out what questions you might be asked by real employers. After answering each question, you will be given the opportunity to self-assess your response using employer insight as a guide. You can utilise this feedback to enhance your interview technique.


How to access Shortlist.Me

As a current student or staff member, follow these steps:

  • Select or search for an interview you would like to practice
  • Enter your MWS student email and password to enter

Then you’re all set to go!

As a graduate, you also have free unlimited access to Shortlist.Me.

To get set up, follow the steps below:

  • Message the University of Liverpool careers team: Careers@liverpool.ac.uk and request an access code to set up your graduate Shortlist.Me account.
  • Once you have this, select or search for an interview you would like to practice.
  • Create an account with your personal email.
  • Select "Have an access code?" and enter the code you retrieved from the Careers team.
