Discover the Graduate Outcome Survey (GOS) – a chance to reflect on your journey 15 months post-graduation and influence the future of education. Take part now and make your voice heard!

What is the Graduate Outcome Survey?

The GOS (Graduate Outcome Survey) is an opportunity to celebrate your journey as a graduate.

You've come a long way since your graduation. The GOS allows you to retrospectively and objectively evaluate your personal career journey, 15 months after this significant achievement.

Why should I do it?

Alongside personal reflection, the survey allows you to:

  • Have a say in what happens in Higher Education: Help charities, the government, journalists, and researchers understand the education sector better.
  • Improve the future student experience: Assist in evidence-based changes.
  • Inspire other students in their career-making decisions: Demonstrate that even non-traditional routes can lead to successful graduate career journeys.

What will be asked?

The survey takes only 10 to 15 minutes and will ask questions about two key areas:

  1. What you are doing 15 months after your degree, specifically between the 4th and the 10th of September 2023. This may include pursuing further education, self-employment, or even working in a job completely different from your original degree.

  2. Your general well-being and personal situation. While these questions are not mandatory, answering them would be beneficial to implement positive changes and provide support for future students with similar stories.

All your answers are confidential and secure. Keep in mind that this means you cannot change any answers or go back to questions once they have been submitted.

Read more about information security within the survey.

How do I take part?

It's easy! If you successfully completed your degree between May and July 2022, HESA would have contacted you via email, text, or phone call.

Keep an eye out for notifications/calls from "theuniversityofliverpool@graduateoutcomes.ac.uk," "Graduate Outcomes," or "IFF Research" to complete the survey. Don't forget to check your spam/junk folder!

Keep in mind you only have until November 30th, 2023, to complete it, so don't miss out on your chance to influence the future of universities across the country.
