Lauren Rebecca Hagan is a BSc Pharmacology graduate now working as a R&D Technician at Hosokawa Micron.

How did you get to where you are now?

Job hunting, researching the role I was being interviewed for, working through university.

What has been your best experience as part of your role?

Developing more administrative and laboratory skills.

What has been the most challenging part of your graduate journey?

My actual undergrad! I had a lot of family illness, the pandemic etc that always came to a head during exam periods, it was stressful!

What are your top tips for other students and graduates?

1. Keep on top of your lecture notes, and do recommended reading (it helps!)

2. Participate in societies to meet new people, develop social skills and find new hobbies!

3. Make sure to take time for yourself, or spending time with loved ones to de-stress.
