Background
If you require medication, taking the correct pill at the correct time is vital. This is especially true if you have a serious medical condition or are elderly.
The Problem
Some people, such as the elderly or people with neurodegenerative diseases, may have trouble remembering to take their medication or finding the correct medication. This is potentially life threatening.
The Solution
The solution our student team came up with was to use a watch that could be set to vibrate at certain times of the day.
Coupled with the watch would be a box that has different compartments for different medications, when the watch vibrates the compartment/compartments containing the relevant medication would light up.
This would make it extremely easy for the person to keep track of their medication and would reduce health problems and deaths resulting from patients not taking their medication.
The Result
This product is still in the design phase. Stay tuned to see how it turns out!
