Breaking down barriers, together

Equality+ aims to create an inclusive and equitable environment where all UoL students and graduates have equal access to resources, support, and opportunities for their career development and future employment.

Who is equality for?

Equality+ is for everyone. We believe in the power of peer support, and we're here to empower students and graduates. Whether you identify with or have a passion for any of the following, Equality+ welcomes you:

  • Recipients of University of Liverpool bursaries
  • Local and commuter students
  • Students from areas with low higher education participation
  • Those with disrupted education backgrounds (including care experience, young carers, estranged individuals, and asylum seekers/refugees)
  • Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic students
  • Students who identify as LGBTQ+
  • Students with disabilities
  • Mature students

Please note that this list isn't exhaustive. If you need additional support, we're here to assist you.
