Periodic review

The purpose of periodic review is to monitor the quality and standards of the programmes and awards offered by each department. The process enables the University to check the health of its provision, to identify areas for development and to identify and disseminate good practice in taught and PGR degrees.

Periodic review process for taught courses

For 2024-25 and 2025-26, the periodic review process is suspended in order to allow for curriculum development to align with the new Liverpool Learning Framework that is being developed as part of the Curriculum Project.  Further information on this and the periodic review process in future will be provided in due course.
