Acute vomiting in cats
We have used two regular expressions: • Identification of clinical records from cats that describe acute or persistent vomiting • Identification of clinical records from cats that describe use of an antiemetic drug to identify the national picture for vomiting in cats over the last six months
Data was collected from practices using Robovet, Provet or Teleos practice management systems. There are the usual distortions of signals in christmas week and in the last week of data because we did not have data for the whole week but there does not appear to be a national rise in cases. This brief analysis does not capture local variations; we will pursue analysis on a more regional basis if there is a suggestion of very localised outbreak.
