Heather Davies MPharm MRPharmS has joined SAVSNET to investigate how SAVSNET can be used to improve signal identification and reporting of adverse drug reactions.  Her PhD is funded by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate, University of Liverpool and SAVSNET.  We are very excited about SAVSNET being used in this new way.

On joining our team, Heather said 'I graduated in 2013 from Liverpool John Moores University with a Master of Pharmacy degree. I completed my pre-registration training within community pharmacy and registered as a pharmacist in 2014. Since then my primary focus has been pharmacovigilance, and I have worked in both clinical trial and post-marketing drug safety roles. My research will focus around adverse drug reactions to veterinary medicines and I’m excited to explore the ways in which we can utilise SAVSNET to improve the identification of these events.'
