Erin graduated from Massey University, New Zealand in November 2007. After two years working in mixed practice in New Zealand she packed up her bags and moved to the United Kingdom. She worked in various companion animal practices before arriving at the University of Liverpool in September 2012 and here she has stayed ever since! Erin completed a rotating Internship in Small Animal Studies, an internship in Oncology and a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine before becoming a Lecturer in Small Animal Internal Medicine in April 2017 then a Senior Lecturer in 2021. Erin became the Head of the Internal Medicine service in June 2024.
