| February 2021 | Start using your University of Liverpool email address (@liverpool.ac.uk) alongside your Laureate hosted email account, to receive regular communications from the University about the transition arrangements and other news for students. |
| February 2021 | We will provide you with a simple registration process to get you set up and ready to continue under our new arrangements. |
| 17 March 2021 | This will be the last day you can access and save your work from the Laureate Blackboard Classrooms. |
| 18 March 2021 | The Laureate Blackboard Classrooms will close for archiving and will not reopen. |
| 2 April 2021 | Laureate hosted services, including the Yammer channel will no longer be available. The University and Kaplan will put replacement services in place. |
| 6 April 2021 |
Classrooms reopen in the Kaplan Virtual Learning Environment for students who are part way through a master’s dissertation or doctoral thesis. |
| New dissertation classes open for master’s students who are eligible to commence dissertation. | |
| New thesis classes open for doctoral students who are eligible to commence doctoral thesis. |
Meet the Teams Welcome Session
To ease you into the transition, key members of the Kaplan Student Services Department will be hosting a Meet the Teams Welcome Session. The sessions will run twice, but you only need to attend one event.
The session will take place on Zoom on:
- Thursday 1 April at 12pm UK time
- Thursday 8 April at 12pm UK time
The Kaplan Student Support team will send you a Zoom link to the sessions in your Welcome email following your completion of the Acceptance Form.
If you are unable to attend the live sessions, the event will be recorded.
