Student ID card

Find out how and when you can access your student ID card.

The student ID card gives you access to University buildings, including our Libraries. This gives access to the online catalogue, online books and journals and also borrow books from the library. You can book study space in the library, book a computer to use, or find help with study skills.

Once you've completed the online enrolment process for an Open Language course, you'll receive an initial email and a receipt for your payment.

Once we've processed your registration, usually a couple of days later, you'll receive a further email as confirmation of your enrolment. This confirmation email will contain your student ID number.

Once you have your student ID number, you can activate your IT account and generate a username and password. This allows you to access the University's computer network, including a student email account, and download the My Liverpool app, where you'll find your digital student ID card.

Your student card can be used as payment card for the Campus cafes if you register with the Loyalty Plus scheme.
