HZDR Workshop Announcement

Published on

On the 14th and 15th of March 2013, a workshop on "Pushing the ELBE CW RF-system to high average beam current" will be held in Dresden at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR). The workshop is initiated from the Helmholtz Initiative for Accelerator Research & Development (ARD), a research network of six German Helmholtz research centers with the aim to strengthen development in accelerator physics and technology and to ensure international competitiveness. As a unique facility in Europe the ELBE linear accelerator at HZDR is operated in high-current, continuous wave (CW) mode applying superconducting TESLA technology. The workshop will cover a variety of topics associated with the recent ELBE high-power upgrade and will share information and experiences among designers, industrial partners and users of superconducting CW acceleration technology. The deadline for registration is February 10th. If you want to know more about organizational details, please click here
