JISC Online Surveys

Create your own survey with our easy-to-use web-based survey software. Select from over a dozen question types (multiple choice, rating scales, drop-down menus, and more).

We offer JISC Online Surveys to all members of staff and research postgraduate students as an easy way to create an online survey. You can use it for both simple (quick evaluation) and complex surveys (questions based on previous responses).

Once a survey is completed and released:

1. Individual survey results can be analysed

2. Reports with graphs and tables can be produced from all the results

3. Completed results can be exported into Excel for further analysis

You can ensure your survey is compliant with data protection regulations by following our helpful guidance. For information about creating and managing your survey please consult the JISC Online Surveys help and support articles.

NOTICE: JISC Online Surveys are upgrading from version 2 to version 3. Version 2 will remain available until 2 April 2024. JISC will not be migrating surveys automatically from version 2 to version 3. Users with existing surveys MUST export all surveys and data needed to be retained by 2 April 2024. Please do not create any further surveys on version 2.

If you wish to use the survey software then you will need to be given access. Please submit a request via the self-service portal: navigate to Request > Accounts > JISC Online Surveys.
