Group of Interchange students at graduation

Student Testimonials

“Choosing Interchange for my final year was one of the best decisions I’ve made in university. My project did not only resonate with me, it allowed me to do something to help young girls in the local area access the support they might need. Not only did it teach me research skills that will be useful after university, it helped me gain confidence in my own ability as a research student. Thanks to the support provided by staff, I have now graduated with a first-class degree and received a first in my report”.

“I would recommend Interchange to any student because it provides a unique opportunity to get invested in your studies unlike anything else. It is a fun, exciting and eye-opening experience that allows you to put your knowledge into practice. It is run by dedicated, informed and supportive staff who care about students and their projects. Interchange made my degree feel truly worthwhile as it extended the focus of my studies beyond campus to have a real positive impact on the community.”

“I have found working on my Interchange project incredibly rewarding. I have gained leadership, time-management, teamwork and critical thinking skills which can only be developed through practice, and Interchange is the perfect way to do it whilst helping incredible charities. My academic supervisor was amazing. We had one to one check ins every week to go through my work and talk through any concerns or questions that had arisen. I never felt alone during the process which I believed helped me achieve the results I am incredibly proud of. I would recommend completing an Interchange project to anyone!”
