IPM associate Dr Haekyung Um recently appeared on BBC Radio 4's Front Row programme to discuss perceptions of exploitation in the K-pop industry. The programme is available to download now.

Dr Um joins journalist Taylor Glasby and presenter Kirsty Lang to answer the question: "Is listening to K-Pop like buying sweatshop-made clothes? From rigorous childhood performance academies to long, labour-intensive contracts for young idols, does the South Korean music industry have an exploitation problem?"
