Everyone is welcome to visit the LCI’s photography exhibition, Focus on China, which includes photographs by our partner university Xi'an Jiaotong University XJTU, showing ancient and modern aspects of Xi’an.
From the ancient Xi’an City wall and gates to modern cars and trains, these images give a real sense for what a fascinating city Xi’an really is. It is wonderful to be able to share a window into life in Xi’an where our partner university XJTU is located.
Our guest photographer, Liverpool Confucius Institute Board Member, President of the Liverpool China Partnership and former Deputy Mayor of Liverpool Gary Millar presents a collection of images he made in China, along with his image of the iconic Liverbird building in Liverpool.
Gary’s images are from across China, created during diplomatic delegation trips which have helped attract a lot of positive Chinese business investment in Liverpool, including in universities and hospitals.
We hope you enjoy the experience and let us know your thoughts on the exhibition via lci@liverpool.ac.uk and #LCIFocusOnChina
