9th and 10th September 2019
Combining the disciplines of both the Liverpool Law School and the Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology, the conference promises to be a celebration of innovative and collaborative research. With a particular focus on the frontiers of law and social justice, the conference will provide opportunities for attendees to engage with new ideas, explore the role of the law in the promotion of social justice and hear from keynote speaker, civil rights lawyer Elkan Abrahamson, who has recently represented bereaved families in the Hillsborough inquests.
