Commercial Military Actors in Latin American Conflicts with Ms Charlotte Penel

Whilst there is a plethora of literature and media attention on commercial military actors (CMAs) involvement in conflicts such as in Afghanistan and Iraq, there has been a paucity of literature on CMAs in Latin American conflicts. I try to fill this gap by firstly providing information on the market for force in this region and its transformation followed by an examination into how neoliberal democratic processes have played a role in shaping the market for force.
