Research Showcase: Service Excellence through Research Excellence

Perfect Care Research Collaboration

This exciting half-day event will showcase current research involving mental health service users, carers, practitioners and academics which aims to improve local services and to make a national impact.

Mersey Care Trust and the University of Liverpool are working together to develop new and better ways of delivering mental health services. Better services mean an improved experience for service users and more opportunities for practitioners to make a difference.

New ideas and good research evidence are essential to these goals. The Perfect Care Collaboration focuses on making services safer, reducing self-harm and improving people’s physical health. Examples of research in all these areas will be presented.

If you are a service user, clinician or academic on Merseyside, this event will be of interest to you. Feel free to come along for all or part of the day to hear about what’s going on and to join in discussions about next steps.
