The new A-Level curriculum means that modern languages teachers are having to incorporate increasingly more and more literature and cinema into their classes. With this in mind, Iberian and Latin American Studies at the University of Liverpool is offering a free day of workshops for teachers on ‘How to use Literature & Cinema in Spanish Classes’.

The event will bring together those teaching GCSE, AS and/or A level Spanish (all other foreign language teachers are welcome, but please note the languages of the event will be English and Spanish). It will comprise a full day of workshops offered by language specialist lecturers and will finish with a round table discussion where teachers and lecturers will discuss how best to work towards future collaboration.
