The Liverpool University Centre for Archive Studies (LUCAS) and the Department of Library, Archival and Information Studies at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, are cooperating on a project to benchmark our provision of education in digital curation. The project will use the DigCurV Curriculum Framework to identify strengths and weaknesses in both programmes with a view to sharing learning resources and identifying priorities for learning resource development.

During his visit to LUCAS in March, the project lead for Ibadan, Dr Abiola Abioye, will give a lecture 'An Overview of Archives Administration and the Education of Archivists in Nigeria’.
