Funding opportunities are available within the University of Liverpool and the wider NWSSDTP to academics and early career researchers to develop research methods in the social sciences and humanities both in practice and developing training provision.
Methodological Innovation and Development Award Scheme (MIDAS)
Proposals are invited from Univeristy of Liverpool academics and early career researchers for methodological innovation and development funding through engage@liverpool via its Methodological Innovation and Development Awards Scheme (MIDAS). Awards will normally be between £500 and £1,500 but supplementary funding may be available beyond that where a strong case can be made for additional support.
Collaborative Innovation Grants (CIGs)
With support from the ESRC’s expanded North West Social Science DTP, ‘Methods North West’ aims to become a regional hub for research methods innovation, celebrating the collective strength, depth and breadth of methodological expertise across the participating Universities of Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster and Keele.
Applications are invited from staff and postgraduate researchers from across the four contributing institutions for up to £2000 to cover all or part of the costs of projects, events, initiatives and symposia that will support cutting-edge developments in research methods across the North West.
