This was a co-hosted and co-funded event by the Centre for the Study of International Slavery and Liverpool Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
A panel of descendants of the enslaved and historians discussed the impact of this project on the interpretation of slavery at Monticello and broader implications for studying labour, slavery, and capitalism.
