Invalid credentials stored on a Mac
If you find that you are getting repeatedly locked out after changing your password, check that there are no invalid credentials stored in the keychain on your Mac. You should remove entries relating to University services, for example, Exchange email and Wi-Fi services. You can then set them up again using your up-to-date password.
- From the Finder toolbar menu choose Go > Utilities and select Keychain Access
- In the window that opens, delete references that relate to University systems.
To delete an entry:
- Highlight the keychain entry that you wish to delete
- From the toolbar select Edit > Delete
