Congratulations to two of our academic staff in Chemistry who have each been awarded one of the University’s new Learning and Teaching Awards.

The awards recognise best practice in learning and teaching and celebrate the achievements of staff that have made an outstanding contribution to pedagogy and the enhancement of the student experience.

Dr Neil Berry and Dr Nick Greeves have been awarded 2013 Faculty of Science and Engineering Learning and Teaching awards and received a certificate and a prize of £500 to be spent on learning and teaching activities at the recent graduation ceremony.

Dr Nick Greeves was also awarded The Sir Alistair Pilkington Award for Teaching Excellence in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Nick will receive a certificate and a £1000 contribution towards teaching and learning activities at the annual Celebrating Success Awards Ceremony in December 2013.
