Personal Statement

As Dean for Xi’an Jiaotong – Liverpool University (XJTLU), I am responsible for facilitating the continuing success of the partnership with the University of Liverpool across the diverse academic portfolio, covering Engineering, Science, Health and Life Science, Humanities, and Social Sciences. I work closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education at Liverpool and Vice-President for Academic Affairs at XJTLU to improve processes associated with quality assurance, develop new articulation routes from XJTLU to Liverpool, and help support and nurture world-leading research and teaching opportunities in XJTLU.
