Threshold resummation for DIS, Drell-Yan, Higgs production and SIA
(…, 2009)
- The exponentiation exponent was first calculated to
next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic (NNLL) accuracy in
hep-ph/0010146 (Phys. Lett. B497
(2001) 111-118), where also the Drell-Yan coefficient D2
process was derived
- The corresponding second-order coefficient for inclusive DIS was shown to
vanish in hep-ph/0209100 (Nucl. Phys. B646 (2002)
181-200). The suggested all-order generalization was proven by others
shortly thereafter
- The exact three-loop contributions to the `cusp' anomalous dimensions
Aq,3 and Ag,3 are (a small) part of the results of
hep-ph/0403192 (Nucl. Phys. B688 (2004)
101-134) and hep-ph/0404111 (Nucl. Phys. B691
(2004) 129-181)
- The N3LL exponentiation exponent has been computed in
hep-ph/0506288 = Nucl. Phys. B726 (2005) 317-325
(.ps and .pdf files),
together with the corresponding universal initial-state coefficients
Bq,3 and Bg,i , i = 2,3, and D3
for inclusive DIS
- The corresponding third-order coefficients for the Drell-Yan process
and Higgs production in proton collisions have been derived in
hep-ph/0508263 (Phys. Lett. B631 (2005) 48-57,
- and for semi-inclusive e+e− annihilation (SIA)
in arXiv:0908.2746 = Phys. Lett. B680 (2009) 239-246
(.ps and .pdf)
NOTE: misprints in Eqs. (4.8), (5.6), (5.7) and (5.9)
of hep-ph/0506288 have been corrected in the ps-file linked above and on
arXiv.org
Full N3LL + N3LO accuracy has been reached in 2014 also
for Higgs and lepton-pair production by
Anastasiou et al, arXiv:1403.4616 = Phys. Lett. B737 (2014) 325-328, and
Ahmed et al, arXiv:1404.0366 = Phys. Rev. Lett. 113 (2014) 112002.
- Some main results of hep-ph/0507039
(JHEP 0508 (2005) 049) and hep-ph/0508055
(Phys. Lett. B625 (2005) 245-252) for these form factors and
their resummation are provided by this FORM file
For a conference overview over both topics, see
hep-ph/0511113 (Acta Phys. Polon. B36 (2005) 3295).
A deeper understanding of the relation between the form factor and the
δ(1-x) contribution to the splitting functions in (21) - (25) of
hep-ph/0508055 has been provided by Dixon, Magnea and Sterman in
arXiv:0805.3515 = JHEP 08 (2008) 022.
The calculation of these form factors was extended by others beyond the pole
terms in 2009/10, see
Baikov et al, arXiv:0902.3519 = Phys. Rev. Lett. 102 (2009) 212002;
Lee, Smirnov and Smirnov, arXiv:1001.2887 = JHEP 1004 (2010) 020;
