Professional Activities
My leadership experience extends over two decades in teaching and education, encompassing the development and leadership of units and curricula across various Economics and International Business programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have contributed to internal and external programme approval panels, annual education reviews, and acted both as an external and internal member for programme validation and revalidation panels. In addition, I have had external examiner positions including for Open University partnerships with the American College of Thessaloniki, Leeds Beckett University partnership with IBA Business Academy Denmark and the University of Leicester Global Study Centre.
I have also mentored junior colleagues and participated as a mentor for the Advance HE Aurora leadership development programme.
My roles have included Department Assessment Lead in the Economics, Policy, and International Business, where I oversaw the development and management of assessment and feedback strategies. I have significant experience in undergraduate and postgraduate programme management, review, and update, ensuring compliance with quality standards from internal bodies and external accreditation bodies like EQUIS, AACSB (with responsibility for Assurance of Learning Programme Learning Outcomes mapping), and AMBA.
