Eithne Costello was a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Pancreatic Cancer UK (2012-2019), chairs the ESPAC-T steering committee, and contributes to funding boards internationally, such as the French National Institute of Cancer. She is a member of the biomarker group of the joint US National Cancer Institute (NCI) and PanCAN Early Detection Initiative (EDI), and on the international advisory committee for the 2019 meeting of the European Pancreatic Club.
