The Faraday Discussions Meeting on Rechargeable non-aqueous Metal-air batteries, led and organised by Prof. Laurence Hardwick from the Stephenson Institute for Renewable Energy, took place earlier this September in York. The event was well attended with both a large UK contingent and substantial high-profile international audience from US, mainland Europe, Asia and South America.

Liverpool was well represented at this event with Prof Gary Attard (Dept Physics, Liverpool) presenting a discussion paper from a long-standing collaboration on single crystal electrochemistry and spectroscopy and PhD student Lucy Walters winning the best poster prize (selected from 20+).
