Call to PhD students for PLANCKS

Published on

We would like to call for PhD students to present posters at the upcoming PLANCKS event. PLANCKS (the 'Physics League Across Numerous Countries for Kick-Ass Students') is an international theoretical physics competition for undergraduate students, and this year's preliminary rounds will be hosted by the University of Liverpool from 17th – 19th February.

Teams of 3 – 4 are invited to compete for the chance to represent their university and the UK & Ireland at the international finals in Milan in May, which will be fully funded by the Institute of Physics and give students the chance to win the 1,000 € prize for the international final.

A PhD Poster Session will take place on campus on the morning of Sunday 19th February 2023, where there will be a prize for the best poster, as voted for by the attendees.

If you are a PhD student interested in delivering a poster please contact the organising committee chair, Sophie Gresty or plancks2023@gmail.com.
