Teaching

Undergraduate Teaching

I teach across the pre-clinical course of the BVSc on infectious diseases and AMR, this includes lectures, small group teaching on antimicrobial stewardship and bacteriology practicals in year 1, facilitating the real-time outbreak for Veterinary Public Health in year 3 and supervising year 2 and 3 students for their research dissertations.

In addition, I contribute to teaching in the School of Biosciences for the Bioveterinary Sciences BSc in years 2 and 3, and have contributed to the development of the new curriculum for this course and the Microbiology and Infection.

Postgraduate teaching

I am the Programme Director of the Masters in Research in Infection, Microbiology and Microbiomes, as well as module coordinator for Research Foundations (IVES703) and the Research Project modules for IVES MSc programmes (IVES701) and the MRes programme (IVES704).
I also supervise masters students across these programmes as well as supervising students on the integrated masters programme in the School of Biosciences.
