Open research community developments

Open Research Week has concluded for 2021, if you missed the programme and would like to find out more and how to access recordings, further details can be found via the recent LJMU blog. The following event was postponed and will be rescheduled for later in the year;

Open Education – Introducing the National Teaching Repository - Dr Dawne Irving Bell and Liam Bullingham (Edge Hill)

The National Teaching Repository is an open access online database where tried and tested strategies ‘that work’ can be housed and harvested. It serves as a space for educators to upload and share teaching resources, pedagogical research, approaches and ideas. Sharing these innovations and strategies will benefit others, and also contributors to gain recognition, be acknowledged for and demonstrate evidence of the impact of their work in practice.

Dr Dawn Irving Bell is a Senior Lecturer in Teaching and Learning development within the Centre for Learning and Teaching at Edge Hill University. Dawne recently received a National Award sponsored by The James Dyson Foundation and The Royal Academy of Engineers in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Teacher Education.

Liam Bullingham is the Research Support Librarian at Edge Hill University.
