OMA Project presented at LMU
QUASAR Group leader Prof. Carsten P. Welsch has just come back from a visit to our collaboration partner LMU in Munich. Prof. Katia Parodi, who holds a chair in medical physics at LMU, kindly gave a tour of their impressive laboratories and presented her newly recruited OMA Fellow who will start in September. She also invited Carsten to talk about ‘Optimization of Medical Accelerators through international Collaboration’. In his hour-long presentation, he gave an overview of the research and training plans of this new European initiative and asked institute members to actively benefit from and contribute to the network.
